What it is like

A climber in the forest. The young plant is soft and fleshy but gets more woody in mature plants.

There are about 125 Marsdenia species. They are mostly tropical. These were Asclepiadaceae but are probably now in Apocynaceae. It may mean Marsdenia tenacissima.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. It grows in cool damp shady places under the forest canopy.
