What it is like
A shrub. The leaves are alternate and simple. They are 4-15 cm long and 1-3 cm wide. They are dark green on top and more pale underneath. Flowers are in the axils of leaves.
There are 7 or 8 Asimina species. A hybrid of Asimina angustifolia and Asimina incana.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant.
