What it is like
A tree. It grows 15 m tall. The trunk is 80 cm across. It can have small buttresses. The bark surface is cracked. The leaves are 18-45 cm long. The male flowering shoots are 6-10 cm long. The female flowers are 6-9 mm long. The fruit is a flattened round shape and 5-8 cm long.

It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 300 m above sea level in the Philippines.
