What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 4-13 m tall. Leaves occur on new growth at the ends of the branches. The leaves are narrowly oval and 6-11 cm long by 2.5-4.5 cm wide. They taper at the tip. The flowers have 5 parts. There are 15-40 flowers in a group. The fruit are 1.6 cm long.

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 100-550 m above sea level.
