What it is like

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It can grow 1 m tall. The leaves are sword shaped and 5-13 cm long by 3-8 cm wide. They are divided into segments.

There are about 300 Artemisia species.

Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. In Argentina it grows from sea level to 1,500 m above sea level.
