What it is like
A tree. It grows 5-18 m high. The trunk can be crooked. The latex is white. The young stems are 3 angled. The leaves are rigid and 10-15 cm long. They are in groups of 3. The fruit are berries 3.5 cm long by 4.5 cm wide. They are yellow when ripe. The seeds are flat and oval.

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 700-1,100 m above sea level.
