What it is like
A bamboo. It grows 8-12 m tall. The stems are 4-6 cm across. They are slightly flexible at the base and droop at the tip. There are usually 3-12 branches on the middle of the stems. The leaves are 10-18 cm long by 1-2 cm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in open fields and around villages. In Sichuan.
