What it is like

A straggling shrub. It grows 1.5 m long. The flowers are greenish white. They can occur singly on in groups of 2-3. The fruit are oval and purplish grey. They can be 5.5 cm long by 4 cm across.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It has been recorded at 3,750 m above sea level on Mt Wilhelm in Papua New Guinea.
