What it is like

The upper leaf surface is shiny and the lower surface has a white powdery covering. The flowers are usually at the ends of branches. They have a sweet smell. The flowers are small and contain both male and female parts. The fruit is fleshy and has one seed. The fruit are black or purple when ripe and 1 cm long.
