What it is like

A cabbage family herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 20-40 cm high. It has a thickened rootstock. The leaves are almost simple. There can be one or two lobes near the base of the leaf. The leaves are 5-10 cm long by 2-3 cm wide. The pod is narrow and 2-3 cm long by 1-2 mm wide.

It contains significant amounts of Vitamin C.
