What it is like

A tree. It grows to 5 m high. The trunk is 25-30 cm across. It has large cracks along it. The leaves are alternate. The leaf stalk is 10-12 mm long. The leaves are 5.5-7.5 cm long by 3.5-5 cm wide. They taper to the tip. The flowers are white and have a scent. The fruit is almost round and 2-3.5 cm across. There is one seed.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. In Bolivia it grows up to 600 m altitude.
