What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 7-10 m tall. The trunk s 10-20 cm wide. The leaves are sword shaped and 10-14 cm long by 3-4.5 cm wide. The flowers are white and turn yellow. The fruit are 3.8 cm long by 2.5 cm wide and have ridges along them.

It is a subtropical plant. In Hainan. It often grows near rivers and on limestoe soil up to 800 m above sea level. edible
