What it is like
A medium sized tree. It grows 20 m tall. The leaves are clustered at the ends of the branches. They are large and stiff. They are 5-11 cm long by 2-5 cm wide. They are smooth above and hairy underneath. The flowers are in clusters and are cream coloured. The ripe fruit are yellow. They are 1.7 cm across.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in coastal areas. In Tanzania it grows between 150-300 m above sea level.
