What it is like
A shrub. It can grow 2 m tall. The leaves are opposite and 1.5-7 cm long by 0.4-3.2 cm wide. There are small teeth along the edge. The flowers are in a dense group in the axils of leaves.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in swampy forests between 900-1,850 m above sea level.
