What it is like
A small tree. It grows 12 m tall. The trunk is 30 cm across. It has buttresses 15 cm high. The bark is smooth. The leaves are 17-35 cm long by 8-14 cm wide. The flowering groups are 8-11 cm long. The fruits are pear shaped and can have 3 vertical lobes. They are 2-3 cm long by 1-2 cm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 150 m above sea level.
