What it is like
A small tree. It grows 15 m tall. The trunk can be 15 cm across. The bark is smooth. The leaves are narrowly oval and 7-18 cm long by 3-5.5 cm wide. They are wedge shaped at the base. The flowering shoots are 2-4 cm long and near the ends of branches or in the axils of leaves. The fruit are 1.5-2.5 cm long by 1-1.5 cm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 600 m above sea level.
