What it is like
A tree. It grows 36 m tall. The leaves are alternate and simple. The flowers are 11 mm across. They are in groups. The fruit are about 2.5 cm across. They are yellow to red and fleshy.
Microcos may be included in Grewia. They have also been put in the families Tiliaceae and Sparrmanniaceae.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in mixed forests up to 500 m above sea level. It can be on sandy or clay soils. It grows in Borneo.
