What it is like

A woody creeper. The branches are smooth and slender. The bark is dark. The leaves are 10-12.5 cm long by 2.5-5 cm wide. They are green and shiny above and pale yellowish-green underneath. The flowers are crowded and the bracts are rounded. The fruit is a large yellow berry. There are many seeds.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in mountain forest. It can be up to 2,800 m above sea level.
