What it is like
A shrub 1-2 m tall. The leaves are like maple leaves. The flowers are small and white. They are in flat topped clusters. The flowers are 6 mm wide in clusters 5-7 cm wide.

Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. It grows in moist upland forests in Canada. Arboretum Tasmania.
