What it is like

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 30-100 cm tall. It has creeping rhizomes. The stems have tangled hairs. The leaves are alternate and 4-10 cm long by 1-2 cm wide.

There are about 150 Lysimachia species.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in Inner Mongolia in China. It grows on grassy mountain slopes between 800-2,000 m above sea level in north China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
