What it is like
A small tree. It grows 11 m high. The stem has white to yellow latex. The leaves are opposite and simple. The leaves are very large. The flowers are 7 mm across. They are yellow and on the stem. The fruit are about 4.5 cm long. They are yellow and curved. The seed has a white fleshy layer or aril around it.
Also put in the family Clusiaceae.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in Borneo. It grows in mixed forest up to 1,000 m above sea level. It grows in wet sandy soil.
