What it is like
A small palm. It grows 2-3 m tall. The trunk is 1-2.5 cm wide. There are 6-8 leaves in the crown. The leaves are 80-150 cm long. The leaflets are irregularly arranged. The fruit are narrowly oval and 3 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. The seeds are 1.2-1.5 cm long by 0.8-0.9 cm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in north Sulawesi between 200-450 m above sea level.
