What it is like
A medium sized tree. There are many twigs which are light grey, rigid and round. The leaves are oblong, with a blunt point and shiny smooth on top. They are light grey green underneath. The flower arrangement is mostly at the ends of branches and has a dense cluster of flowers. The flowers are white. The fruit is round and has an outer case of sepals which remain on the fruit. They are hard and greenish.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. They are found in well drained forests at low and medium altitudes from northern Luzon to Tawi-tawi in the Philippines.
