What it is like
A tree. It grows 50 m tall. The trunk can be 1.5 m across. The trunk does not have branches for about 22 m. The leaves are compound with 3-4 pairs of leaflets.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in primary rainforests up to 1,000 m above sea level.
