What it is like
A tree. It grows 25 m tall. The bark is rough and grey to brown. It has a yellow gum. The leaves are simple and opposite. They are 7-15 cm long by 2-7 cm wide. The flowers can be in the axils of leaves or at the ends of branches. The female flowers often occur singly. The fruit is a fleshy berry. There are 1-12 seeds. They are covered in a juicy white pulp.
