What it is like

A shrub. It grows 1 m tall. The leaves are narrowly oval and 20-41 cm long by 7-11 cm wide. There are 2 or 3 pairs of leaflets. The leaflets are whitish underneath. The flowers are in 3-5 groups with flowers loosely arranged. The flower petals are yellow. The fruit are black and 5-8 mm across.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in broad-leaved evergreen and deciduous forests between 700-2,400 m above sea level. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
