What it is like

An agave. It has a short stem and a ring of leaves making it 100-120 cm tall and 150-200 cm wide. The leaves are 100 cm long and 7-12 cm wide. A flowering stem 2.5-5 m tall develops.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. In Baja California it grows from sea level to 1,200 m above sea level.
