What it is like
A tree. It grows 30-45 m tall. The trunk is 1-1.5 m across. The bark is yellowish grey. The leaves are 13-23 cm long by 6-11 cm wide. The flowers are creamy-white with a purple colour at the base.

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in lower mountain rainforest. It grows between 420-1,300 m above sea level.
