What it is like
A tree. It grows to 20 m high. The trunk is 1 m across. The leaves are simple and alternate. They are 8-30 cm long by 3-11 cm wide. There is a point at the tip. The fruit are round and fleshy. They are 5-7 cm long by 5-6 cm wide and 3.5-5 cm thick. There are 2 seeds in each stone.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in evergreen rain-forest between 600-700 m altitude.
