What it is like

A tree. It grows 40 m tall. The trunk can be 70 cm across. It can have buttresses 1-2 m tall. The leaves are clustered near the tips of twigs. The are oval to spoon shaped and 4-12.5 cm long by 1.5-6 cm wide. The fruit is oval and 5.5 cm long. There is one seed 3-4 cm long.

It is an at risk species.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in swamp forest between 18-520 m above sea level.
