What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 20 m tall. The leaves are 19 cm long by 7.5 cm wide. They are dull underneath. The fruit are 5-7 mm long and 8-9 mm wide. They are hairy and purple to black when ripe. There are 3-6 seeds.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in lowland forest and up to 500 m above sea level.
