What it is like

An erect shrub. It grows 1-3 m tall. The leaves have 3 leaflets. The leaflets are oval and the end one is 3-7 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. The flowers are in the upper part of the branches. They are yellowish green. The pods are 1.5 cm long.

There are about 100 Lespedeza species.


Where it is found

It grows in ditches and on mountain slopes below 1500 m altitude in China. In Sichuan.
