What it is like
A small plant that grows in tufts and keeps growing from year to year. The leaves are blue-green and sword shaped. The are opposite each other and do not have stalks. The stems, flowers and leaves are ridged and erect. The flowers are white and at the top of the stalks. There are 5 deeply divided petals.
Where it is found
They grow on rocky ridges and exposed slopes in alpine slopes in Canada.
