What it is like

A vine or creeper. There are tumour like lumps along the branches. The leaves are almost round and 4-14 cm long by 3-10 cm wide. The fruit is yellow-green and red when ripe. They are up to 2.3 cm long and 1.2 cm wide.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. In China it grows in limestone areas in Yunnan between 200-1,200 m altitude.
