What it is like
A short annual herb. The leaves are divided along the stalk. There are 4-7 pairs of rounded lobes. The stems are not winged. The flowers are yellow.
There are about 300 Limonium species.
Where it is found
It grows on sandy and rocky areas near the coast and on salty areas further inland.
