What it is like
A tree. It grows 30 m tall. The young branches are hairy. The leaves are narrowly oval and 5-15 cm long by 2-7 cm wide. The flowering shoots are much branched and near the ends of branches. The fruit are pear shaped and 5 cm long. They have a hairy coating.
