What it is like
A cabbage family herb. It keeps growing from year to year and grows 70 cm tall. The stems are smooth and leafy and branched. The leaves are simple and narrow. They taper to the tip. The flowers are in a long slender group 10 cm long with many flowers. The flowers are small and white. The fruit is a narrowly oval seed capsule.
There are about 150 Lepidium species.

A subtropical plant.
