What it is like

A woody herb. It grows 30-60 cm tall. It has tubers. The leaves are large and green. They are 5-10 cm long. The flowers are white and lantern shaped. The flower tube has 5 lobes closed into a bowl shape.

There are about 160-200 Ceropegia species. It is an at risk plant.

Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows at about 1,400 m above sea level in India.
