What it is like
A tree. It grows 10 m tall. The bark is dark grey and has irregular cracks. The young branches are hairy. The leaves are narrowly oval and 6-10 cm long by 4-6 cm wide. They taper to the tip and are rounded at the base. There are teeth along the edge. The leaf stalks are 3-4 cm long. The flowers are small and white. They have a scent. They are in groups 10-20 cm long at the ends of branches. The fruit are fleshy and pea sized. They are orange-red and have 2 stones. There are 2 seeds in each stone.
