What it is like

A herb. It is a climbing vine. The leaf blades are oval and 10-14 cm long. They are broadly heart shaped at the base and taper to the tip. They are hairy when young. The flowering shoots are 10-40 cm long. The flowers are white. The fruit are oval and 2 cm across.

There are about 80 Merremia species.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. It grows in forest between 100-400 m above sea level.
