What it is like

A herb. It grows 3 m tall. It can be hairy. The leaves are narrowly oval and can have 3-5 lobes. The leaves are 6-18 cm long by 4-16 cm wide. There are teeth around the edges. The flowers are pink or occasionally white.

There are about 30 Kosteletzkya species.


Where it is found

It is a Mediterranean climate plant. It grows in salty coastal marshes.
