What it is like

A small tree. It grows 3-12 m high. The twigs can be angular and 2-3 mm across. The leaves are narrowly oval and 14-30 cm long by 5-11 cm wide. The leaves are shiny above and whitish underneath. The fruit are orange.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in primary forest and along rivers. It is often on yellow sandy clay. It grows between 100-600 m altitude.
