What it is like

The leaves are finely divided. They have very narrow segments. The leaf stalks are slender and arch over. The leaves are bright green and shiny on both surfaces. The fruit are oval or pear shaped and 1.3 cm long. They are dull black.
There are 28 Livistona species. There are debates about the name.
