What it is like
A climbing shrub or vine. It grows to 10 m long. The leaves are narrowly oval and 4-6 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. The petals are 8 mm long. The berries are 5-6 cm long.
There are about 250 Capparis species. There are about 50 Capparis species in tropical America.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in slightly dry areas and sandy areas between 100-1,000 m above sea level.
