What it is like
A shrub. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 1.5 m tall. It has spines. The leaves are almost opposite and narrowly oval. They are 0.4-1.5 cm long.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant. In Argentina it grows between 2,500-3,800 m above sea level.
