What it is like
A tree. It grows to 20 m high. The leaves have stalks. They are oblong to sword shaped. They taper towards the tip. They are leathery and hairy underneath. Flowers occur singly. They are in the axils of leaves at the tips of branches. Flowers are yellow.
Where it is found
In Nepal it grows between 1200-2200 m altitude.

How it is used for food
The powdered bark is mixed with corn flour and baked to make bread.
