What it is like
A shrub. It grows 2-3 m tall. It has several stems and many branches. It grows 2-3 m tall. The leaves are broad with a blunt tip. The veins underneath are prominent. The flowers are small and greenish-yellow. They are in clusters. The fruit are small and about 1 cm across. They are green and turn black as they ripen.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. In Kenya it grows between 440-1,200 m altitude. It is often on rocky or sandy soils.
