What it is like
A small shrub. It grows up to 2 m tall. The leaf stalk is 6 cm long. The leaves are 5-17 cm long by 1.-6.5 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. The fruit is a round capsule about 0.5 cm across. It is black.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in tidal rivers in mangrove forest.
