What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1-2 m tall. The leaves in each pair are unequal. The larger leaf is 7-14 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. They are oval to sword shaped. The smaller leaf is half the length of the larger leaf. The leaves are unequal at the base.
It is an at risk species.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in lowland and mid-altitude wet forests. It grows in rocky areas.
