What it is like
A shrub. It can grow in the soil or attached to other plants. It grows 2 m tall. The bark has cracks along it. The leaves are rough and narrowly oval. They are 3-5 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. The flowering shoots occur singly in the axils of the leaves and have 1-3 flowers. The fruit is a berry 13 mm across.
It is rare and endangered.

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 2,600-3,000 m above sea level.
